Hotel Lenado Review

The focal point of this dramatic inn, a favorite with couples, is a modern, 28-foot-tall stone-and-concrete fireplace. The smallish rooms contain either intricate carved apple-wood or hickory beds (lenado is Spanish for wood, and much of it appears throughout the hotel). You'll also find antique armoires and wood-burning stoves, but modern amenities like flat-screen TVs and Bose radios keep it from being a period piece. Rates include a full breakfast, served in the urbane bar area, which is also a great place to enjoy an evening aperitif.
