Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley Restaurants

Cache Cache

Cache Cache Review

The sunny flavors of Provence are given pride of place here, thanks to chef Chris Lanter's savvy use of garlic, tomato, eggplant, fennel, and rosemary. The Black Angus rib eye, served with roasted mushrooms, is a perfect way to end a day spent on the slopes; salads and rotisserie items are sensational; desserts are worth leaving room for. The bar menu is a more budget-friendly way to sample this outstanding cuisine.

I've eaten here several times, but have decided never to go back due to the incredible rudeness of the staff and the manager. Even making a reservation is a lesson in frustration. The attitude from the woman who doles out tables is so abominable, I have no idea why people eat here. Dining should be enjoyable, and if you don't want to be treated like a second class citizen by an insecure person who wants to belittle you to make herself feel important, go elsewhere.
