The focal point of this dramatic inn, a favorite with couples, is a very modern, 28-foot-tall stone-and-concrete fireplace. The smallish but quaint rooms contain either intricate carved apple-wood or hickory beds (lenado is Spanish for wood, and much of it appears throughout the hotel). You'll also find antique armoires and wood-burning stoves, in addition to modern amenities such as cable TV. Rates include a full breakfast, served in the urbane bar area, which is also a great place to enjoy an evening aperitif. Pros: romantic ambience, great breakfast cooked to order. Cons: no restaurant, rooms facing street can be noisy.
