A friendly establishment with an unbeatable location right off the pedestrian mall, this cozy restaurant—there are only 10 tables—and bar offer light Mediterranean dishes in a Jazz-era room with a faux tin ceiling, yellow walls with dark wood, and tile trim. The restaurant has one of Aspen's more- unusual plates: "fish in the bag" (fish of the night is cooked and served in a brown paper bag). For dessert try the warm figs, of course, and a cup of amante coffee, custom-roasted in the northern Italian tradition.
