By Air in Yosemite National Park

Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FYI) is the nearest airport to Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks. Alaska, Allegiant, American, America West, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, Horizon, Mexicana, Northwest, United Express, and US Airways fly here. The closest major airport to Mammoth Lakes is in Reno (though there are tentative plans to expand the Mammoth-Yosemite Airport, which currently only serves charter flights; at press time commercial service to Mammoth was slated to begin December 2007).
