Climb the steep 400-step staircase 300 feet to the top of this granite dome for spectacular views of the Great Western Divide and the western regions of the park. To the southwest you look down the Kaweah River to Three Rivers, Lake Kaweah, and—on clear days—the Central Valley and the Coast Range. To the northeast are views of the High Sierra. Thousands of feet below lies the middle fork of the Kaweah River.
