Lodgings in Yosemite range from canvas tent-cabins without heat or bath to luxury suites with room service. All have lovely, if not spectacular, settings, though those in the valley are far from peaceful in summer. In season, rooms of any description are expensive and hard to come by; if you can, make your reservations a year in advance—the day your chosen dates open for booking.
