Juniper Springs Lodge Review
Tops for slope-side comfort, these condominium-style units have full kitchens and ski-in ski-out access to the mountain. Extras include gas fireplaces, balconies, and stereos with CD players; the heated outdoor pool—surrounded by a heated deck—is open year-round. If you like to be near nightlife, you'll do better at the Village, but if you don't mind having to drive to go out for the evening, this is a great spot. In summer fewer people stay here, although package deals and lower prices provide incentive. Skiers: The lifts on this side of the mountain close in mid-April; for springtime ski-in ski-out access, stay at the Mammoth Mountain Inn.
