Fodor's Review

On a bluff overlooking the ocean, this inn is steps from the surf. You can walk to the art museum, galleries, shops, and restaurants. Rooms have a beachy feel, and most have full or partial ocean views and balconies. Proximity to the beach makes this a good hotel for children. Las Brisas, a restaurant famous for its view, is located next door. The hotel got a complete makeover and eco-smart upgrade in 2012.

Amazing location, great staff...loved this hotel!!

After the Best Western Las Brisas overbooked their hotel and gave away our confirmed room, the Inn stepped up and gave us a great deal (they felt sorry for us) and really accommodated us. We got an ocean view room that was clean, recently renovated, and an amazing view. The rooms are not huge but nothing in Laguna is. This hotel's location is right next to main beach. The staff was great. They bring you breakfast to your room at the time you specify,

so you can enjoy it on the patio overlooking the water! Awesome!

Best of Laguna Beach & Nice Staff too...

We really loved this place. The amenities include beach chairs & umbrellas. The deck on the 4th floor is lovely. The staff were fun and had great tips for things to do.

Listen to the ocean all night...

This is so much nicer than Shutters on the Beach. The owner obviously tried to copy the looks but didn't need to. This place is so much nicer. The ocean is out your window and to help you enjoy the view, they serve a continental breakfast to your room to enjoy on your private balcony each morning as you gaze at the ocean. If you want to open your sliding doors and close the large shuttered sliding door you can listen to the waves all night long.

What a treat. I will go back.

Great view, walking distance to all

The hotel was great - rooms a little small, but the ocean view made up for that. We had 2 "lower floor ocean view" rooms with beautiful views of the beach and breaking waves. We will stay there again next year when we return for the Pageant of the Masters. Shower, no bathtub. Beach chairs and umbrella for the sand is in each room. Wonderful continental breakfast is compimentary and served in your room if desired. A great place!
