This neighborhood joint—its detractors might call it a dive— is a remnant of the days when Dana Point was a crusty fishing village, not a posh resort town. You'll find steaks, chicken, fish-and-chips, and seafood at this old school bar and grill, and at reasonable prices. Once owned by Hollywood bit player and strongman Turk Varteresian, it's now run by his daughter Candy. Overhead, clear-bottom aquariums create a nautical feel; the walls are adorned with old pictures of various celebrities. It stays open until 2 am, and has an old-fashioned jukebox.
