Taco Loco Review

This may look like a fast-food taco stand, and the hemp brownies on the menu may make you think the kitchen's really laid-back, but the quality of the food here equals that in many higher-price restaurants. Some Mexican standards get a Louisiana twist, like Cajun-spiced seafood tacos. Other favorites include blackened lobster tacos and the mushroom-and-tofu burgers. It stays open late on Friday and Saturday, until 2 am.

    Great for take out

    The ambience is nil (brightly lit plastic tables on coast highway)but the food is wonderful and inexpensive. Pick up dinner and go to the beach or to your balcony. Eclectic crowd. Fully accomodates vegetarians (and everyone else).
