La Casa del Camino Review

This historic Spanish-style hotel opened in 1929 and was once a favorite of Hollywood stars. The look is old California with dark woods, arched doors, and wrought iron in the lobby. The popular Rooftop Lounge, with hand-crafted cocktails and killer ocean views, is an ideal spot at sunset. Hand-carved furniture from Spain adds a European feel to interior courtyard rooms done in warm color schemes; all beds have feather duvets to ward off the seaside chill. K'ya Bistro Bar, the hotel's cozy restaurant, has a small plates Mediterranean cuisine-influenced menu.
