Fodor's Expert Review La Casa del Camino

The look is Old California at the 1929-built La Casa del Camino, with dark woods, arched doors, wrought iron, and a beautiful tiled fireplace in the recently refreshed lobby. Spanish-style guest rooms have hand-carved furniture from Spain to support their theme as well as mini-refrigerators and updated bathrooms. Ten rooms are decorated in individually designed surf-themes and feature surfboards, coastal photo murals, and wave curtains. The popular Rooftop Lounge serves cocktails during lunch, brunch, and dinner as well as spectacular ocean views.
