Fort Humboldt State Historic Park

Fort Humboldt State Historic Park Review

The structure that gives this park its name was built in response to conflicts between white settlers and Native Americans. It no longer stands, but on its grounds are some reconstructed buildings, fort and logging museums, and old logging locomotives. At this writing the museums are closed due to earthquake damage, but the park, which is a good place for a picnic, remains open.
