Navarro River Redwoods State Park
Navarro River Redwoods State Park Review
Known by locals as the "11-mile-long redwood tunnel to the sea," this park just off Highway 128 is great for walks in the second-growth redwood forest and for summer swimming in the gentle Navarro River. There's also fishing, canoeing, and kayaking in the late winter and spring, when the river is higher. The two campgrounds (one on the river "beach") are quiet and clean.
