Fodor's Review

Quilts, folk art, and original paintings and photographs fill this colorful and friendly inn. Some rooms—such as the Cirque du Sonoma Room, with a bright yellow-and-red color scheme—brim with personality and others are more sedate; all are comfortable and have fireplaces. Most rooms are spacious and have private decks and jetted tubs. An air of relaxed refinement prevails amid the whimsical antiques and fine Asian rugs in the ground-floor living room, where guests

gather for evening hors d'oeuvres and wine. The two-bedroom Sonoma Cottage goes for $689 a night. Pets are allowed in the cottage and a few designated rooms for an additional fee.

Eclectic art and relaxing

We stayed for 3 nights in the kitchen cupboard room. Decorated with antique kitchen items, a marshmellow toaster, large cheese grater, egg beaters. It was neat and beautiful. Lovely wine and cheese, appetizer reception. great breakfasts. It's located in a small town, so you need to drive to wineries and many dinner spots, but well worth it.
