Desert Discovery Center Review
Stop by this center to see exhibits of fossils, plants, and local animals. The main attraction here is Old Woman Meteorite, the second-largest such celestial object ever found in the United States. It was discovered in 1976 about 50 mi from Barstow in the Old Woman Mountains. The center also has visitor information for the Mojave Desert.
