Casa Del Desierto Harvey House

Casa Del Desierto Harvey House Review

This distinctive two-story structure—its Spanish name means "house of the desert"—was one of many hotel and restaurant depots opened by Santa Fe Railroad guru Fred Harvey in the early 20th century. In its heyday the building starred in Judy Garland's film The Harvey Girls; now, it houses the Route 66 Mother Road Museum and the Western Railroad Museum.
