Ponte Family Estates Review
Lush gardens and more than 300 acres of vineyards provide a rustic, elegant setting at Ponte, whose small-lot wines range from sparklers and light whites to potent Super Tuscan-style offerings. In the airy, light-filled tasting room you can sample the aptly named Super T, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes, and other vintages crafted by winemaker Mark Schabel; ceramics, specialty foods, and gift baskets are for sale at the adjacent marketplace. The shaded, outdoor Restaurant at Ponte serves salads, sandwiches, wood-fired pizzas, and seafood daily for lunch and on weekends for dinner.
