Weaverville
A man known only as Weaver struck gold here in 1849, and the fledgling community at the base of the Trinity Alps was named after him. With its impressive downtown historic district, today Weaverville is a popular headquarters for family vacations and biking, hiking, fishing, and gold-panning excursions.
