This dorm-style lodging comprised of three buildings is the only lodge within the national seashore. The dorm rooms in the old wood-sided ranch house (separated by gender) are cheery, if a bit barracks-like, with curtains instead of doors in the women's bathrooms and merely serviceable furniture. The mood here is friendly and communal as guests gather around a small table to eat at night. A separate bunkhouse holds two large co-ed dorm rooms and two bathrooms. Private
lodging is available in the LEED-certified building, where four family-size guest rooms ($82–$120) sleep five people each and must be reserved well in advance. Be aware that the drive to the top of the peak is steep and winding.
