Locals swear by this old-fashioned fish house at the end of the Port San Luis Pier. Ask for today's fresh catch, or go for the cioppino (spicy tomato-based seafood stew) or fish tacos; simplicity is the key to a decent meal here. You can't beat the views, whether you're looking out over the ocean or through the glass surface of your table into the waters below.

We love the tables with the glass bottom. The views are incredible, and the food is very good. Service is always friendly. The restaurant is located at the end of the Avila Beach pier. Local fisherman sell their fish on that pier (seals are often present). You can't get fresher seafood in our opinion than this place, and we've eaten all over San Luis Obispo County.
