Big Sur Roadhouse

Fodor's Review:

In their colorful, casual bistro, Marcus and Heather Foster serve up innovative, well-executed California Latin-fusion fare. Crispy striped bass atop a pillow of carrot-coconut puree, tangy-smoky barbecue chicken breast beneath a julienne of jicama and cilantro: the zesty, balanced flavors wake up your mouth. Emphasizing new-world vintages, the wine list is gently priced. The chocolate-caramel layer cake may bring tears to your eyes.
