Moonstone Beach Drive
Moonstone Beach Drive Review
Lined with low-key motels, the drive runs along a bluff above the ocean. The 2-mile boardwalk that winds along the beach makes for a fine walk and a great photo op. You're apt to glimpse sea lions and even sea otters, and during winter and spring the occasional gray whale. Year-round birds aplenty fly about, and tiny creatures scurry amid the tidepools.
