Fodor's Review:

Lush gardens with fountains and waterfalls, friendly staff, and cheery English-country-theme rooms with antiques make for a peaceful retreat just a few blocks—but worlds away—from Solvang's main tourist area. Rooms range from basic to elegant; each has unique character and furnishings, and many have marble showers and baths. Pros: Homey, family-friendly, colorful gardens. Cons: Some rooms are tiny, some units need upgrades.
