Fodor's Review

The friendly staff and the range of cheery, spacious beach-theme rooms, from singles to mini- and family suites, at this family-owned Spanish-Mediterranean motel make this a good choice for all types of travelers; its location just a block from the harbor and West Beach is hard to beat. Part of the structure dates from the 1920s.

Convenient location, clean rooms, Santa Barbara prices

I appreciated the willingness of the staff to allow for late check-in for my group, and I found the rooms to be fairly spacious, the beds comfortable and clean (no bed bugs!), and the bathroom wellappointed with the standard amenities. And it's in a good location not too close to the beach to allow for less traffic. My one complaint would be the prices. It's a fairly standard, cute, spanish style place, but it's priced for a more upscale vacation

destination. But that's what you get if you want to stay in Santa Barbara.
