Nitt-Witt Ridge

Nitt-Witt Ridge Review

Arthur Beal (aka Captain Nit Wit, Der Tinkerpaw) spent 51 years building a home out of all kinds of collected junk: beer cans, rocks, abalone shells, car parts, TV antennas—you name it. The site, above Cambria's West Village, is a state landmark. You can drive by and peek in—from the 700 block of Main Street, head southeast on Cornwall Street and east on Hillcrest Drive. Better yet, schedule a guided tour.
