Fodor's Review:

The historical society's museum exhibits decorative and fine arts, furniture, costumes, and documents from the town's past. Adjacent to it is the Gledhill Library, a collection of books, photographs, maps, and manuscripts.

  • Cost: Museum by donation; library $2-$5 per hr for research
  • Open: Museum Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5; library Tues.-Fri. 10-4, 1st Sat. of month 10-1. Free guided tours Wed. and weekends at 1:30
