Traditional village-style Indian cooking and exotic decor—fabrics, curtains, and artwork are all imported from the East—make for a deliciously different dining experience here. The chef uses organic spices to create a host of lean, healthful dishes, such as tandoori entrées, curries, masalas, vegetarian dishes, and Frankies (Bombay-style burritos). Can't decide? Try the Taj Special, with samples of various tandoori dishes, or one of the many combination plates.
