Owner-chef Laurent Grangien has created a handsome, welcoming French bistro in an 1890s brick building across from City Park. He focuses on traditional dishes such as osso buco, cassoulet, rack of lamb, goat-cheese tart, and onion soup, but always offers a few updated dishes as daily specials. Wines come from around the world. Le Petit Marcel, a tiny nook next door to the main restaurant, is open just for lunch Monday through Saturday.
