Smack in the middle of the Martin & Weyrich vineyard, this exclusive Tuscan-style villa opened in 2002. The eight ultraposh suites with wood-beam ceilings have custom linens, huge baths with oversize whirlpool tubs, spacious sitting areas, and patios or balconies overlooking the vineyard. You can arrange for spa treatments in your suite. Start the day with an elaborate breakfast, and wind down in the afternoon with wine and hors d'oeuvres. The mood can be somewhat stiff at this pricey cocoon. Pros: Vineyard views for miles, huge rooms, exquisite furnishings. Cons: Pricey, several miles from downtown dining action.
