The bright, homey rooms at this hotel all have fireplaces and featherbeds; most have balconies with private hot tubs, and some have beautiful ocean views. A breakfast basket is delivered to your room in the morning, and the elegant Sea Venture Restaurant ($$-$$$, no lunch weekdays)—with sweeping ocean vistas from the third floor—features fresh seafood and local wines. Pros: On the beach, excellent food, romantic rooms. Cons: Touristy area, some rooms and facilities are beginning to age, dark hallways.
