Golf in Santa Barbara and the Central Coast

Like Pebble Beach, the 18-hole, par-72 Sandpiper Golf Club (7925 Hollister Ave., 14 mi north of downtown on Hwy. 101. 805/968—1541) sits on the ocean bluffs and combines stunning views with a challenging game. Greens fees are $119-$139; an optional cart is $16. Santa Barbara Golf Club (Las Positas Rd. and McCaw Ave. 805/687-7087) has an 18-hole, par-70 course. The greens fees are $33-$43; an optional cart costs $13 per person.
