The area's nicest hotel has the feel of a luxurious Mediterranean villa, its adobe walls and wood doors set off by rich materials in muted jewel tones—ruby sateen duvet covers, dusky emerald sofas. During summer beautiful people lounge in the courtyard by the small pool and hot tub. The restaurant, Dio Deka ($$$$) serves inspired Greek creations like grilled pork riblets infused with nutmeg and ouzo and topped with quince-pistachio relish. The underground spa here is considered to be among the area's best (and around here, that's saying something). Pros: Gorgeous, within peaceful walking distance of town. Cons: Some walls are thin.
