Vasona Lake Park

Fodor's Review:

On sunny days, picnic and play Frisbee on the 48 acres of lawn at Vasona Lake Park, or cycle along the tree-lined trails. You can fish for trout from the lake's shore, or get out on the water in rented paddleboats and sailboats. Adjacent to the south is Oak Meadow Park, where you can ride a beloved, old-fashioned carousel and take a trip on the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, a miniature train.
