Fodor's Review:
This European-style inn is 20 minutes from San Jose, but its aura of calm makes it feel far from the Silicon Valley buzz. The furnishings are rather lackluster -- reminiscent of an upscale motel -- but each room's view of a creek makes for a relaxing stay. In the evening wine and hors d'oeuvres are set out in the cozy lobby, and although modern business conveniences are available, they are discreetly hidden. Pros: Quiet, lovely courtyard. Cons: Uninspired furnishings, pricey.
