Fodor's Review:

This European-style inn is 20 minutes from San Jose, but its aura of calm makes it feel far from the Silicon Valley buzz. The furnishings are rather lackluster—reminiscent of an upscale motel—but each room's view of a creek makes for a relaxing stay. In the evening wine and hors d'oeuvres are set out in the cozy lobby, and although modern business conveniences are available, they are discreetly hidden. Pros: Quiet, lovely courtyard. Cons: Uninspired furnishings, pricey.
