This downtown gem is as opulent as its sister property in San Francisco. Get lost in the lavish lobby sofas under dazzling chandeliers, or dip your feet in the 4th-floor pool, which is surrounded by exotic palms. Rooms have every imaginable comfort, from down pillows and custom-designed comforters to oversize bath towels changed twice a day. Pros: Luxurious, spacious rooms. Cons: Service sometimes doesn't match the price tag.
