Gay & Lesbian Travel in San Francisco

Gay & Lesbian Travel

More Travel Tips »

San Francisco is the epicenter of the West Coast's lesbian and gay scene. Although the Castro has long been a focal point for the community, today gay men and lesbians have enclaves all over the city and the Bay Area, including Oakland and Berkeley. Gay-owned shops and nightlife are sprinkled throughout the region as well.

The Bay Area Reporter, a weekly gay paper, includes an events calendar; the biweekly San Francisco Bay Times also is aimed at gay and lesbian readers.
