Café du Nord
Café du Nord Review
You can hear some of the coolest jazz, blues, rock, and alternative sounds in town at this basement bar. Built in 1907, it has retained some of its original Victorian features, which contribute to the hip, vaguely illicit feel—reminiscent of its days as a speakeasy. The performers are a mix of local talent, indie headliners like Kristin Hersh and Bettie Serveert, and the next big act.
