Bottom of the Hill

Fodor's Review:

This is a great live-music dive -- in the best sense of the word -- and truly the epicenter for independent rock in the Bay Area. The club has hosted some great acts over the years, including the Strokes and the Throwing Muses. Rap and hip-hop acts occasionally make it to the stage.
