Luna Park

Luna Park Review

It can be a tight fit on weekend nights in this clangorous American bistro in the trendy Mission District. The youngish crowd is here to sip mojitos and nosh on steamed mussels with bacon or goat-cheese fondue with apple wedges. Most of the mains are homey—mac-and-cheese, short ribs and mashed potatoes, grilled salmon, breaded pork cutlet—and priced to sell. An order of s'mores includes cups of melted chocolate and marshmallows and a handful of house-made graham crackers to customize the campfire classic. On weekends a slew of popular brunch dishes are added to the weekday lunch list of salads and sandwiches.
