This bay-front hotel, with an elegant, palm-tree-lined entrance and a sparkling fountain, is geared to business travelers and conventioneers. Uncluttered, sound-proof accommodations have cherry furnishings and pillow-top mattresses, and about half the rooms have views of the bay. Bathrooms have double shower heads. An atrium with skylights encloses the pool and hot tub area, and the fitness center has yoga equipment and individual TVs. The warm and bright restaurant, Alfiere, serves a Mediterranean-influenced menu. The hotel provides a complimentary dog bed if you bring your pooch with you.
