Aloft San Francisco Airport Review

On the southern edge of SFO's runway, Aloft SFO revamped the former Clarion Hotel site, morphing the property into a den for tech savvy travelers who congregate in the busy glass-front lobby taking advantage the free Wi-Fi, live music, the artful cocktails, the pool table and house games, and the housemade sandwiches and breakfast treats at Re:Fuel, the hotel's grab-and-go eatery. Throw in a heated pool, outdoor sun beds, and a state-of-the-art fitness center and this funky property starts to seem attractive to those not wanting to trek into the city. Although rooms on the north side of the complex have views of the airport, triple-paned windows with black-out curtains help dim the noise. Rooms are compact, with floating beds facing flat-panel TVs, porcelian bowl sinks, showers, complimentary water bottles, and individual coffee makers. A popular jogging trail runs parallel to the bay.
