Fodor's Review:

Adjacent to the Japantown complex and two blocks from Fillmore Street and Pacific Heights, this pagoda-style hotel is popular with business travelers. Rooms are in the tower and the garden wing, which has a traditional Japanese garden with a waterfall. Japanese-style rooms have futon beds with tatami mats; Western rooms have traditional beds. All rooms have gorgeous Asian furniture and original artwork, and most have their own soaking rooms with a bucket and stool and a Japanese tub (1 foot deeper than Western tubs). Restaurant Dot serves breakfast and dinner daily, and the bar hosts karaoke on some nights. A club level offers complimentary breakfast as well as free appetizers and cocktails during happy hour.
