Best Western Plus–The Tuscan Review
Described by some Fodors.com users as a "hidden treasure," this hotel's redbrick facade barely hints at the Tuscan country villa that lies within. Each small, Italianate room has white-pine furniture, a completely mirrored wall, and a refurbished bathroom. The Kimpton Hotels group added its signature stripes, polka dots, and vibrant colors, mixing these playful touches with the more classic decor like stately gray headboards. Complimentary beverages are laid out mornings near the fireplace in the recently spruced-up lobby, where a convivial wine hour is held nightly. There's free morning limousine service to the Financial District, though guests must find their own way back. Café Pescatore, the Italian seafood restaurant off the lobby, provides room service for breakfast.
