Fodor's Review:
The top five floors of the green-tile 1908 Pacific Place Building provide a luxurious oasis above the busiest part of town. A softly lighted lounge area with plush sofas gives way to the renowned Fifth Floor restaurant, which serves modern French cuisine. Rooms have muted alligator-pattern carpeting, drapes with bold navy and cream stripes, Frette linens, and sleek furniture echoing a 1930s sensibility. Sparkling bathrooms provide a "tub menu" with L'Occitane herbal and botanical infusions to tempt adventurous bathers. In-room spa services such as massage, manicures, and body wraps are arranged through Equilibrium Spa at fellow Kimpton-group property Hotel Monaco.
