Fodor's Review:
This boutique hotel is close to the Chinatown Gate, Union Square, and adjacent to the Crocker Galleria, one of San Francisco's most elegant shopping complexes. The rooms are warmer and more contemporary after a recent major renovation, and meeting rooms and the fitness center have been dramatically improved. The massive, hand-sculpted art nouveau fireplace, restored original 1911 skylights, and artwork by local artists establishes a welcoming ambience.
