Fodor's Review:
After selling Adidas shoes since 1968 out of its brick-and-mortar digs, Harputs recently opened the Market next store. The boutique carries the largest selection of Y-3 (a joint venture between Adidas and avant-garde designer Yohji Yamamoto) on the West Coast. In between vintage Vespas and sewing machines, you can find vintage Christian Dior shades, suits, and accessories by Comme des Garçons, and an impressive collection of vintage Ellesse fluorescent jumpsuits. Still, Harputs stays true to its roots: sneaker fanatics swoon over the display cases of rare Adidas shoes.
