Fodor's Review:

High San Francisco rents mean there aren't many discount outlets in the city, but a few do exist in the renovated warehouses south of Market Street, called SoMa. Most outlets are along the streets and alleyways bordered by 2nd, Townsend, Howard, and 10th streets. At the other end of the spectrum is the gift shop of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, which sells handmade jewelry, upscale and offbeat housewares, and other great gift items.
