Haight Street is a perennial attraction for visitors, if only to see the sign at Haight and Ashbury streets -- the geographic center of the Flower Power movement during the 1960s. Puncturing the thrill of seeing this famous intersection is the presence of the Gap and a Ben & Jerry's, but from a shopper's perspective, it's still possible to find high-quality vintage clothing, funky shoes, folk art from around the world, and used records and CDs galore in this always-busy neighborhood.
